Latarka czołowa Lifesystems Intensity 80 Led Mountain Head Torch Motion Sensor
Aquatic systems exhibit incredible diversity - from mountain streams to deep oceans, from lakes and ponds to the estuaries that link river and sea. Despite their distinct characters, however, these systems share common properties and, at the level of ecology, are not all that different after all. But how can this be? Ecology of Aquatic Systems brings together coverage of freshwater and marine systems to illustrate the principles and properties that unify aquatic systems. Using examples drawn fro
The book focuses on geological history as the critical factor in determining the present biodiversity and landscapes of Amazonia. The different driving mechanisms for landscape evolution are explored by reviewing the history of the Amazonian Craton, the associated sedimentary basins, and the role of mountain uplift and climate change. This book provdes an insight into the Meso- and Cenozoic record of Amazonia that was characterized by fluvial and long-lived lake systems and a highly diverse flor
Environmental Sedimentology provides a comprehensive introduction to this rapidly expanding field which addresses the functioning and dynamics of contemporary sediment systems and how these systems respond to a range of both natural and anthropogenically-induced disturbance events. * considers a range of sedimentary environments; mountain and upland, fluvial, lacustrine, arid, urban, deltaic and estuarine, temperate coastal, tropical coastal, and continental shelf * aspects of sediment managem
"Computer Graphics Files" are complex drawings illustrating a series of 73 frontal sections through the rat brain. Earlier versions of these files were used to illustrate "Brain Maps: Structure of the Rat Brain" by L.W. Swanson. These files are for use by professional neuroanatomists and other workers thoroughly familiar with Adobe Illustrator 3.2 (or later versions), or other computer graphics programs such as Core1DRAW!. A detailed user guide is included in the package. With "Brain Maps" you can plot data, stack, design and crop drawings, as well as create bilateral coronal sections for preparation of publication quality prints. The drawings have been created in Adobe Illustrator 3.2 (Mac), but can be used with any later version of the program (4.0 for PC: 5.0 for Mac) Please note: lie disks provided have been formatted for PC use; they can be easily read and used by any Macintosh machine using a software package such as Access PC (Insignia Solutions Inc., 526 Clyde Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.). For Illustrator 3.2 (Mac), the following are essential: a Macintosh Plus or above, with at least 2 Mb of random-access memory (RAM); Apple Systems software version 6.0.3 or later. The following are recommended: Macintosh LC or above, with 8 Mb or more of RAM: System 7.0 software or later; a 12-inch or bigger colour monitor.
